Dr. Radić, an orthopedic surgeon who is a graduate of the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, completed his internship at Clinical Hospital Merkur and served his residency in orthopedic surgery at Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Clinical Hospital Center Rebro, Zagreb. The area of his professional interest are: total hip and knee arthroplasty, shoulder, knee and ankle arthroscopic surgery, musculoskeletal trauma and sports traumatology. He is an expert in knee reconstruction, including arthroscopic ACL reconstruction. Dr. Radić incorporates the latest in orthopedic research and literature into his practice, while still relying on proven concepts and techniques.
As licensed physican he worked as family physician at the Emergency departments of towns Jastrebarsko and Županja. After that Dr. Radić worked for three years as attending physician at the Department of Surgery, Division of Orthopedic Surgery, General Hospital Zabok where he assisted and performed operations in orthopedic and trauma surgery as well as abdominal, ENT, urological and gynecologic surgery procedures. He was trained at the Clinic for Traumatology, Zagreb, Department of Vascular Surgery, University Hospital Merkur, Zagreb and Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Clinical Hospital Dubrava, Zagreb. Upon completion of his residency, dr. Radić worked as an orthopedic surgeon at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology at the General Hospital Zabok. From its foundation in 2010., he works in St. Catherine Specialty Hospital where he leads Polyclinic – consultative Department. He completed numerous courses and trainings including Ultrasound of Musculoskeletal System Course, Magnetic resonance imaging of Musculoskeletal and Central nervous system Course, AO course “Principles of surgical treatment of fractures”, Instructional Course for shoulder surgical techniques (arthroscopy and prosthetics) and Arthroscopic meniscal suturing course. He participated in Masterclass Primary and Revision Hip – Zimmer Institute Medical Educational Course as well as Primary and Revision Knee Course Zimmer and Biomet Medical Educational Institute Stolzalpe, Austria.
He provides advanced biologic treatments such as platelet-rich plasma injections and tissue regeneration. At Carolinas Pain Institute, Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Hospital, Forsyth Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem (North Carolina, USA), he completed three months training in minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of chronic pain (radio frequent ablation of intervertebral disc, sacroiliac joint, denervation of thoracic and lumbar facet joints). Currently, Dr. Radić is enrolled in the PHD program “Translational Research in Biomedicine” at the School of Medicine, University of Split. In 2013., he successfully passed the European Board of Orthopedics and Traumatology exam (EBOT) as the first orthopedic surgeon from the Republic of Croatia. He presented his scientific data at numerous international and domestic congress. Dr. Radić authored many scientific articles in international and domestic scientific publications as well as chapters in the books. He is licensed with the Croatian Medical Chamber and he is a full member of the Croatian Association of Orthopedic and Traumatology, Croatian Orthopedic Society and European Federation of National Associations of Orthopedics and Traumatology. For two seasons he was member of medical team for hockey club Medvešćak and Continental Hockey League.
